Adam and Eve were given authority over a beautiful earth and they were happy.
However, they listened to the serpent who deceived them into thinking they were missing out on something.
They decided they wanted to be as wise as God and wanted to know the difference between right and wrong.
Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree and were cast out of the garden, chained to a life of bondage, followed by death in eternal hell.
Spiritually, the Earth became a cracked and broken place, open for sin and destruction. Because of sin, we are separated from God. All people on earth are now bound for a horrible place of everlasting fire, but God has a plan to save us from an eternity in hell.
God sent His son to earth to save us. Through the cross, Jesus made a bridge, saving us from an eternity in hell, giving us eternity in heaven with Him. This is the only way to heaven.
Through Jesus, we can get back the life God intended for us from the beginning. Through Jesus, we can make the journey from a world of chaos to a life of everlasting peace, love, and joy. He is our Bridge to Salvation.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16 NKJV).
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
We have a choice. We can choose right or we can choose wrong. We can choose heaven or we can choose hell. God doesn't force us to love Him or serve Him. He wants us to want to love Him and serve Him.
The Bible tells us to "enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it" (Mattew 7:13). Don't take the easy way out. Be different and find the narrow gate. Follow Jesus. It's worth it!
The Bible says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9 NKJV). Will you choose Heaven or Hell? Will you choose Jesus?
The Sinner's Prayer:
Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for all my sins, to save me from an eternity in Hell. I confess my sins and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Thank-you for saving me and giving me the gift of salvation. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
If you have said this prayer, please contact us--we'd love to know to celebrate and help you with the journey ahead. Welcome to the family!
