Our Church

We are the church. As a united body of believers we can achieve our mission and be a great church. Every part of the body is important, whether you believe you are a big toe, a pinky finger, a leg or an arm--the church needs you! God needs you!

At Hands of Love, City of Refuge Church, we are preparing hearts for a harvest. We know that no matter who we are or what we've been through, we have a God who wants to heal us and deliver us from every circumstance!

It's time to put away yesterday and stop looking back. Let's move forward together, and be united for a purpose and a true cause to bring God's people in where they belong. Let's receive the many spiritual blessings our Father in heaven has waiting for us--if only we would believe and receive!

God is all about planting seed, watering, and then bringing in the harvest. Once a seed is planted, it takes time for that seed to grow, but it won't grow into anything without the proper care and nourishment. Seeds need good, nutritious soul to sink into. Seeds need to be fed and nurtured and tended to in order to grow into something of substance.

We believe many different kinds of seed can be planted, but the most important seed starts with us. Does our heart have good, fertile ground? Are we able to receive good seed, water it, nurture it, and watch it grow into something beautiful and bountiful?
